QRAM’s newest educational project kicks off this month with a look at how we can eat more healthy food every day.
The ‘Our Community -Our Future’ program is a year-long project funded by the Australian Government, Department of Health and Ageing, and focuses on promoting the importance of good health, nutrition and physical activity to our communities around Queensland.
Over the coming months our projects team will be catching up with a range of community members and health professionals to talk about some of the things we can do in our own lives to stay healthy, prevent chronic disease, and ensure we eat well and keep active.
This month we’re talking with the Heart Foundation about what food is good for you, and catching up with Katie Northam, a diabetes educator for Diabetes Queensland.
So tune in for some great information about healthy eating, then head for the kitchen to cook something up!
