The Black Star Network continues to expand the range of programs for our listeners across the Cape, Gulf, Tablelands and Western Queensland. Now featuring each weekday (at – add the time) is The Wire, the well known and award-winning current affairs program.
The Wire is produced by respected stations Radio Adelaide, Brisbane’s 4EB and 2SER in Sydney, with contributions from CAAMA Radio Alice Springs, RTR FM in Perth and Joy94.9FM in Melbourne, so it brings a truly national perspective. It’s heard on more than a hundred stations, now including the 13 stations in the Black Star Network.
QRAM and the Black Star Network will work with The Wire to bring more stories from our region to the rest of the country.
In each half-hour program you can keep up with the major issues for communities across the country including for our local communities. Here are some examples and the links to the podcast of each story on The Wire’s website.
