Anthony Albanese MP is the Federal Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and Transport gave the thumbs up to Black Star radio when he visited Black Star Central today. Albo took a tour of the studios and offices at the hub and was impressed with the technology and the service being provided to people throughout the Cape and Gulf country.
On air, Black Star’s Gilmore Johnston spoke with the Shadow Minister about the Queensland State elections, the plans to upgrade the Cape Development Road, the Apology to the Stolen Generations and, of course, football. “It’s fantastic to be here at Black Star” Albo said.
Anthony Albanese paid tribute to Indigenous people. He said “It is such an honour for us to live in a country where we have the oldest continuous culture in the world – and that’s something we should cherish and respect. We all benefit from it and its something that uplifts our whole nation.”
