Go West

Gilmore Johnston is heading west to Mt Isa to participate at a regional indigenous men’s forum, to share the story about QRAM and the Black Star radio network.

Indigenous men from Birdsville to Mornington Island, across the Gulf of Carpentaria and North West QLD region from Camooweal and Julia Creek will come together for the “Strong men – Our Place” event on August 21.

Gilmore believes the media has an important role is sharing our challenges and experiences and he will be bringing some of that back to the Black Star network.
