A new radio drama series addressing alcohol use and binge drinking will be produced by QRAM with young people living in remote communities of QLD.
The radio series is the result of an exciting forum involving 10 young indigenous youth with family ties to the communities in the Gulf of Carpentaria and Cape York.
On the 31st of July and 1st August 2012 the “In Our Own Words” project brought together indigenous youth with industry professionals to brainstorm strategies. What sort of language should we use? What is the best way we can get a message through to our youth?
As young people we shared our experiences and discussed all of the different reasons why our communities can have issues with grog.
Check back here on the QRAM site for project updates.
