Black Star – part of The Queensland Plan

Black Star has been identified as an inspirational Queensland organisation leading by example and achieving great things across the state as part of  The Queensland Plan in action. The Queensland Plan is a 30-year vision for the state and has been developed through a collaborative engagement process.   The plan includes nine foundation areas and Black Star is profiled as a leading example of Infrastructure provision. The website highlights Black Star’s integrated network that provides connectivity and improves accessibility across the state.QP header low res transparent PNG

This is a great result for the communities of the Cape and Gulf regions. Communication throughout these areas has been greatly enriched by the development of the Black Star Network and people living and visiting in these regions now have a reliable, informative and credible local radio network to keep them in up to date.
