The new Indigenous Knowledge Centre building in the heart of Yarrabah is complete save for the last minute finishing touches are being put in place. The modern new facility is the pride of Yarrabah and locals are really looking forward to its official opening on November19, with Black Star broadcasting live to air from the event.

This is an exciting development and will give the local community direct access to their own local Black Star Radio Service. The new service will continue to be operated by QRAM and now in direct conjunction with Yarrabah locals. As the service continues to develop, Yarrabah community is looking forward to producing regular local programs with the support of QRAM.
